What is it for?

For relief of the symptoms of colds and flu. May reduce the severity and duration of colds. Can assist in the treatment of flu by reducing the severity of symptoms.

Helpful hints

  • Encourage your child to rest (although they probably won't go to bed).
  • Don't worry if your child goes off their food for a couple of days, but do make sure they drink plenty of clear fluids.
  • Vitamin C may help reduce the length and severity of your child's symptoms if they don't get enough vitamins in their normal diet.
  • Try a steam inhalation with a few drops of eucalyptus or tea tree oil added. Supervise your child closely while doing this, making sure they don't scald themselves with the hot water or steam.
  • Keep your child away from smoky environments.

Dosage

Consult your healthcare practitioner before giving this product to children under 2 years of age. Children 2 to 12 years: 2mL Initially, give one dose every half hour for 4 doses. Thereafter, 4 hourly until symptoms abate. Use only as directed. If symptoms persist consult your healthcare practitioner.

Y Ingredients - Oral Liquid

Each 2 mL dose contains:
Nux vomica 6C, Pulsatilla 6C, Aconitum nap. 6C, Euphrasia 3C, Gelsemium 6C, Rhus tox. 5C, Arsen. alb. 4C, Bryonia 4C, Eupatorium perf. 3X, Allium cepa 3C.

Instructions for maximum benefits from Brauer Natural Medicines

Oral sprays are convenient and have a more rapid rate of absorption when sprayed under the tongue.

Tablets and pills should be placed under the tongue and allowed to dissolve. They may be chewed and swallowed after 30 seconds.  Oral liquids may be taken diluted with water. The diluted liquid may be sipped slowly.  Creams or gels should be gently massaged into the affected area.

It is generally recommended that homeopathic medicines are best taken between meals - half an hour before or an hour after.

Homeopathic medicines should be stored in a cool place away from direct sunlight and perfumes, disinfectants or other strong smelling substances.

Children under 12 years should take half the recommended adult dose.  Check with your health care practitioner before using any medicines if you are pregnant, particularly during the first trimester of pregnancy.  As with any other medication, please consult your healthcare practitioner if symptoms do not improve.
