All products in the AMAZONAS Baby World range are marked with the “eco-tested” seal which guarantees that the products have been tested for harmful substances and are safe to use next to babies delicate skin. They have the following verifiable characteristics:

We're really big believers in re-using, recycling and super comfy styling!  The Amazonas Globo Chair is the perfect concept for re-using your Hippo stand once your bubba has outgrown their hammock.

Also, babies who've grown up being soothed to the gentle sway of a hammock will absolutely LOVE this snuggly, secure spot to call their own.

This set includes the Amazonas 'Kids Globo' hanging chair, and wooden 'Hippo' stand. If you've already purchased a Hippo stand (or Miyo wooden hammock stand) and you're just looking for the hanging chair - please contact us for a quote for separate items.

The Chair:

The Kids Globo from Amazonas is small but mighty!  A timeless, carefully handcrafted spherical framed seat made of weatherproof laminated spruce wood.  The premium layer glueing provies for highest stability and safety.

The soft cushion invites one to nestle down and make oneself really comfortable to read, dream or play.

The Globo is suitable for children aged 3 years plus up to 35kg.

For safety, there is a swing limiter on the Kids Globo which can be attached to the base of the Hippo stand if required.

Measures 94cm x 94.5cm x 50.7cm and will hold up to 35kg in weight.

The Stand:

The Amazonas 'Hippo' is an absolutely stunning wooden baby hammock stand which is a real eye catcher - it's stylish, tilt proof (making it very safe), and comes with a swing limiter which is perfect if you have other children, or pets around the home.

The stand measures approx 109cm in length.

Dimensions:  Height 138.5cm x 104-107cm Width

Weight is 8kg. It has a weight limit of 35kg.

The stand comes in 6 parts, but, once assembled, can easily be taken down into 2 main parts making it very portable. It would easily fit in the back of the car once the 2 main parts are separated.

The Kids Globo can also be suspended on an Amazonas Powerhook ceiling hook with chain. Optional extra for $24.95.
